Ladner is a district municipality located on the Fraser River delta in British Columbia, Canada. It is situated approximately 25 kilometers south of Vancouver, the largest city in Western Canada. History
The name “Ladner” originates from Thomas Ludger Dunn Ladner, a Canadian businessman who purchased land in the area in the late 19th century. The district was formally established as a municipality in 1955 and has since undergone significant growth and Ladner development, driven primarily by the expansion of Vancouver’s metropolitan region.
